1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of this store and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and legally able to enter a contract in order to buy from us.
4. Products and descriptions
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Product imagery shows the actual item, but screen calibration varies, so finishes and light temperature may appear slightly different in person. Minor variations in dimensions and finish between production batches are normal and are not a defect.
5. Prices and currency
All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise, and exclude shipping, which is calculated at checkout. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted. Import duties and local taxes are not included and are payable by the recipient.
6. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if a price or description was published in error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.
7. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through the providers shown there. We do not store your full card details. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.
8. Shipping and delivery
We ship worldwide, including domestic delivery within Sri Lanka. Delivery estimates, dispatch times, duties and lost-parcel handling are set out in our Shipping policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
9. Returns, refunds and warranty
You may return items within 30 days of delivery, and every Dwellio light carries a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults. Full details are in our Returns & Warranty policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right you have under the consumer law of the country in which you live, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 in the United Kingdom, the Australian Consumer Law in Australia, and applicable consumer protection law in the United States. Where those laws give you rights that are more generous than these terms, those rights apply.
11. Safe use of the product
Our lights contain a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Charge them using the supplied cable and a standard USB power source. Do not puncture, crush, submerge, incinerate or attempt to disassemble the battery, and do not continue using a light whose casing is damaged. Dispose of the product in accordance with local rules for electrical and battery waste.
12. Acceptable use of the site
You agree not to use the site unlawfully, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, to interfere with its operation, or to copy or scrape its content for commercial purposes without our permission.
13. Intellectual property
The Dwellio name, logo, product imagery, copy and site design are owned by us or licensed to us. You may not reproduce them without written permission.
14. Third-party links
Our site may link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy policy.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and you and Dwellio consent to the jurisdiction of its courts. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country in which you live, or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
